We Love Max

Having Max here has been so much fun!  I love having a new baby!
Even if he does have his days and nights confused.
I love watching the Cody, Ethan and Jaxson interact with him.
Jaxson is so much fun to have around.  He always wants to be by
Max.  He talks to him in a high voice, and is always saying how
mini or tiny Max is.  He is such a good helper, and loves to hold Max.

I guess I always call Max honey, I didn't realize it until I said it once to Jaxson.
He looked at me and said "hon-ney? Max is hon-ney."  Since then, it has
been a game to him.  He now loves to be called honey.  If you call him
anything else, he says, "no, me Hon-ney!"
Then Rah came, and she wanted to be honey.  Sometimes, Jaxson would call
her honey, but more times then not she was beast.
So now we go through everyone, and Jaxson will say whether they are honey
or beast.  You never know which you will be.  It changes every time.
He is so funny, I love that little guy!
 He is so sweet

Mike and the boys.  He wouldn't hold Max
he says he is too little.  He just wanted to look at him.
 He loves his new brother
Rah getting in some Max and Jack time

 Max's first bath.

Cody was spinning at my mom's house.  My dad told him
he needed to be careful.  He was going to fall if he spun much more.
Cody didn't listen, and not more than 2 min later, he tried to walk, and
fell flat on his face.  His glasses gave him a pretty good black eye!
Maybe he will listen next time, but I doubt it!
Jaxson got an early birthday present from Rah.
New sheets, he was very excited!

 I love this picture.
I love his chubby cheeks!  He is just so
stinkin' cute!  I can't get enough of him.

This year Halloween was very low key.  Dave was awesome, like he always is,
and got the boys ready to go, dressed up himself, and took them out in the
pouring rain to go trick-or-treating.  They had a blast!!
I stayed home, turned off all of the lights, and pretended I wasn't home.
Having a baby a few days before can make any day low key.
Cody wanted to be blue man group with Dave.  They tried to convince Ethan
to complete the group, but he wanted to be a bat.  Not just any bat, a blood
sucking bat.  Where he came up with that is beyond me.  So for the parade at
school he had bloody fangs.  He then decided that he did want to be the third
of the blue man group.
So I had lots of blue!  Good thing it cleans up easy.
They did look pretty cool!!  Jaxson was cute frog!
After they were done here, we went to my parents house.
Karlie took them trick-or-treating there.
Sarah flew home to spend Halloween here, and to see Max.  It was a lot of
fun having her here!!

While I was helping Dave get all blue, Jaxson got bored.
He decided to get into the sugar, luckily I caught
him before he made too big of a mess!

Cody trying to fit into the frog costume.
Kem was the operation guy, and Lin was his nurse.
 Karlie with the boys
Mike and Lin.  This was the first time Lin had seen Max.
She was sick and had to wait.  It about killed her!!

Pumpkin Time

Halloween means lots of candy, costumes and of course Carving Pumpkins.
I could do with out the carving, but my boys love it.
Thank goodness my oldest boy loves it just as much since he ended up
mostly carving all three pumpkins, or GUMPKINS, as Jaxson likes to
call them.  It is so cute, I couldn't correct him.
The boys had a lot of fun gutting them, Ethan almost puked the
first time he grabbed some guts, It was hilarious!!
Jack was done after the gutting was over.  He just likes to play in any
mess!  Cody stuck with it the longest, Dave only had to help him a little.
I didn't get any of the after shots!  It was late, and I was ready for bed.
The next day it rained all day, and the boys were in too big of a hurry
to light the gumpkins before they left for trick-o-treating.
 Cody dug right in

He was so funny!  Every time he grabbed guts
he made a face!
He was in heaven!  A mess that he wouldn't get
in trouble for making!
Sweet Max was very into it, just like his mom.
 Look mom, more guts!

Fall Fun!

I love fall. It mean holidays are just around the corner, snow is soon
to come.  Warm clothes, snuggling with my boys under warm blankets
while watching movies, and hot chocolate.
My boys love fall because they get to play in the leaves!
On this day we had some leaves in the yard, but not quite enough.
I asked Dave to go take a few pictures, when he got out there the boys
were down the street with 5 gallon buckets.  They were filling them
with leaves to bring back to our yard for BIGGER leaf piles!
I'm sure our neighbors were glad to get rid of them.
Oh, to have the energy of child!

This was at my mom's.  I wish leaves would keep
me entertained for hours!
Shortly after we got home, Max had to have his bili rechecked.
Unfortunately, he had to be put under lights.  The only time
we could take him out was to eat.
The poor thing hated it.  He screamed for the first 2 hours, then
I think he was too tired to cry anymore.  It was a very long 24 hours.
Thank goodness it was only for 24 instead of the 48 the Dr had originally
wanted.  There was a mix up with company bringing the lights, so it was
started a day later than was planned.
I'm so grateful for technology, and being able to have the lights at home.
It was very hard listening to him cry, knowing that it was good for him.
I am so glad he is ok, and it only lasted for a day.

Jaxson would just look at him and say "he sad."
